Bath Light Placement and Shadows

Everyone wants to look great when they look in the mirror. To achieve this, there should be no shadows on your face. For a shadowless reflection, mount light fixtures on either side of a vanity mirror 36 to 40 inches apart. The center of the light fixture should be at eye level, or about 66 inches from the floor. The most common placement for bathroom lighting is on the wall above a mirror. This, however, can create shadows. To avoid this, make sure the fixture is long enough to light the sides of the face. The best mirror lighting surrounds the face, getting rid of any and all shadows for a flawless look. Or, a wall sconce on either side of the mirror will work well, too.
